The fishing zone for the Fitzroy River Barra Bash includes all tidal reaches of the Fitzroy River Net Free Zone, including the The Narrows and Graham Creek.
Commencing 400m from the Fitzroy River Barrage, the fishing zone includes the beautiful waters of Livingstone Shire Council and Rockhampton Regional Council, extending out to Keppel Bay, up to Corio Bay and down to the bottom end of the Narrows down to, and including, Graham Creek (just before the LNG Plant)
The Fitzroy River, Coorooman Creek, Corio Bay, Port Alma, The Narrows and Graham Creek are the main waterways located within the fishing zone and include an abundance of inner estuaries that provide exceptional fishing.
