Day 3 Recap: 2024 Humminbird Fitzroy River Barra Bash
Day 3 of the 2024 Humminbird Fitzroy River Barra Bash was a fantastic day for fishing, with weather conditions remaining excellent for our dedicated anglers. The skies were clear, creating the perfect environment for pursuing Barramundi. Our participants took full advantage of these favourable conditions, showcasing their unwavering determination.
With the great weather, our talented anglers managed to reel in an impressive 200 Barramundi on Day 3, bringing the total catch to a remarkable 631. The Fitzroy River and its surrounding net-free zones continued to affirm their reputation as a premier Barramundi hotspot.
As the clock struck 1pm, marking the end of another thrilling day of fishing, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation for the evening's presentation dinner—a well-deserved opportunity to unwind, share stories, and celebrate their achievements.
Adding to the excitement, Day 3 featured the much-anticipated multi-draw raffle, where anglers eagerly awaited their chance to win a share of the $29,000 in prizes, enhancing the evening's festivities.
The Barra Bash Boat Raffle was also drawn at the Frenchville Sports Club, with 10,000 tickets sold. Congratulations to Trav Scott from Emu Park for winning this fantastic boating package!
