Day 2 of the 2024 Humminbird Fitzroy River Barra Bash was nothing short of exhilarating! The Fitzroy River continued to deliver, as anglers showcased their expertise in pursuit of the elusive Barramundi. An impressive 234 Barramundi were caught today, bringing the total count to a remarkable 431, further solidifying Central Queensland's status as a Barramundi hotspot.
A huge congratulations to Mark Boss and Matthew Muller from "Team Tupperware" for their incredible performance. They ended Day 2 at the top of the leaderboard for the Most Metres of Barramundi caught, proving that their dedication and skill are a winning combination.
Jake Schwerrin now holds the lead for the Biggest Barramundi of the tournament with an impressive 111cm catch, setting the bar high for the rest of the competition.
